The cap sealant is a non-sag sealant that is excellent for sealing around perimeters of windows, entry doors, compartment doors, and joints made of bare or repainted materials. It is a HAPS (Hazardous Air Pollutants) compliant product that is compatible with various materials including Concrete, Fiberglass, Fiber Reinforced Plastic, Glass, Masonry, Rubber, and Thermoplastics.

Ideally suited for aftermarket use, this sealant is paintable, water resistant, fast to dry, and easy to gun. The cure times for the cap sealant vary, and the manufacturer's production date can be found on the bottom of the tube. It is important to note that this date is the production date, not an expiration date. As long as the product is stored in a dry location and not exposed to extreme temperatures, it can last indefinitely. The ideal storage temperature is between 55 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
